Hand Path: 9:00 to Delivery

Hi everyone! It’s been a loooong while since you’ve seen me on here, but I’m back! Today I am answering a subscriber question that we literally got over a year ago (I am the worst, haha) regarding hand path in the arm circle from 9:00 to 6:00 to delivery. This is a very important concept to understand when it comes to the proper spin on your pitchers fastball, as well as optimal speed and command Check out the video to see a great way you can teach hand path for whip!

I have 2 girls, 9 and 11 who fave played a few years of softball and are really getting into it I was looking for ways to help improve their pitching. Stumbled upon this on YouTube and have been watching several FP videos and the forearm fire has really caught my eye and explained a pitcher we recently faced that I thought had a weird delivery.

This seems like the logical path for them to take and this particular video:Hand Path: 9:00 to Delivery explained the hand transition the best. I wish there were a few more angles and some slow mo just to really see it. I have asked our current pitching coach if she knows of this method, but I doubt it. We live in Nor Cal not sure if you have a partner out here. I see you do online but not sure how that works for a new form.

wither way for the most part I’m sold on this technique hope there is a way I can educate my girls with it properly.

I would be happy to try and take more angles and some slow-mo for you. Are you looking for different angles while actually throwing a ball? Or using the PVC pipe?
