Hi Phil, I am a retired coach of youth baseball and softball but I still coach hitting and pitching to a few girls, one of which is my granddaughter( 10 yrs old ). I’ve recently come upon your methods and find them to be very good. I’m teaching my granddaughter your principals of forearm fire. I totally get it. My daughter who was a very good pitcher(4 year full scholarship to a division 1 college and pitcher of the year 2003 in the WAC division) and I are wondering, when the pitch is delivered and the drive foot slides up to the back of the stride foot and you are still sideways, what about transitioning to being ready for a comebacker or a line drive facing the batter. I’ve watched almost all of your videos and have not seen anything on this. Or it almost seems that your methods do not allow for this. Please explain or steer me to one of your videos that handles this. My daughter is not totally on board because of this. Thanks, Rick Coogan
