Free Flexibility Test For Softball Players

After spending a weekend in Las Vegas, being stranded by American Airline “sick pilots” and tornadoes back home, I don’t have any content prepared for this week. However, in return, I’m going to offer Fastpitch Power readers an opportunity to gain some insight into their own physical ability. I’ve thrown up a quick video of exercises that will test critical upper body flexibility, lower body flexibility, and most importantly, the integration between the two.

For the next week, if you send me a video of you or your daughter performing the exercises in the video, I will return a personalized assessment and corrective exercise plan with video links. Your videos will never be shared or utilized in any way for our site. I MUST add, you will not only receive flexibility corrections, but some strength training exercises as well that will actually help increase your flexibility. How does that work? Your body can only move well if it’s flexible and properly aligned. Therefore you must supplement flexibility with stability training in order to control range of motion and keep your joints healthy. Need an analogy? In order to swing a door shut, you must remove the doorstop AND make sure the hinges are stable.
