Video: Are You Dragging Instead of Driving Through?

What’s the difference between dragging and driving in a windmill pitching motion?

In this video blog, Coach Phil goes more in depth about the issues that can arise if a windmill pitcher’s foot is turned during the pre-motion and push off, resulting in a stressful drag-through instead of a powerful drive through.

NOTE: In this video, Phil references 2 other video blogs that have not yet been posted. We filmed three at a time, but in light of Carly’s recent post about this very same subject of foot turning and dragging through, we decided it would be more beneficial to supplement that information by sharing this video blog with you now. We apologize for any confusion that might arise as a result. You can look forward to the other two videos next week and the following week.
